I figured I would start this blog by saying that I have never had a blog before, but I guess that would be a lie. I once created a blog with a single post purely for the purpose of trying to connect somehow with the girl who eventually became my wife.  I'm not sure if that really counts as having a blog before, but for the sake of accuracy I guess I should mention it.  I have decided that the purpose of this blog will be an attempt to record stories and experiences from my past.  My intention is that this hopefully will be a replacement for the journal I never kept, therefore I will attempt to relay my experiences as accurately as possible.  Seeing as they will be told from my perspective and that my memory will occasionally fail me, what I share will likely be biased, flawed, and maybe even slightly embellished.  I apologize in advance for any inaccuracies in what I will account.
